Kyle Ward
Kyle has experience with landscape design, integrated pest management, utility tree clearance, and tree risk management. He has used his skill and knowledge to help some notable companies including Armstrong Garden Center, The Walt Disney Company and most recently Southern California Edison.
About Kyle Ward's Journey
My Education
Kyle began his horticulture journey at College of the Redwoods in Eureka CA where he gained a strong foundation in soil studies and nursery production. Kyle went on to build up his experience with turf science and arboriculture at Mount San Antonio College. Ultimately Kyle achieved a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Arizona.
My Skills
Kyle has excellent knowledge of tree species from all over the world but especially knows the species commonly planted in California. Kyle has a robust knowledge of tree pathogens and pests.
My Experience
Kyle has worked side by side with some notable Urban Forestry and Invasive Pest researchers in the Southern California area including Dr Akif Eskalen, Dr Beatriz Nobua Behrmann, and Dr Christopher Shogren.
